I remember staying in Bonnie Lodge in the early 60s with my mom, Fannie Rahrle, who was a cook. One night we were awakened to a âbump in the night.â The next morning my mom found a bar of Ivory soap with teeth marks in it. I guess some rat must have needed to wash his mouth out with soap in the middle of the night!
